We are System Design Dive, operated as a sole proprietorship based in the European Union. We operate an educational portal for software developers.

  • Error and crash reports – when something goes wrong in the app (via Sentry).

  • To provide the service – operating your account, showing content, handling support.
  • To keep the app reliable and secure – we use Sentry to track technical errors and crashes.
  • To comply with legal obligations – keeping basic business records.

We do not use analytics, session replay, or behavioral tracking tools.

4. Legal basis under GDPR

We rely on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): when we process your account data to provide the service.
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for error monitoring (Sentry) and basic technical operation.

Consent is not required in our current setup because we do not run analytics, advertising, or session replay.

5. International use

  • All data is stored and processed in the European Union.
  • Error and crash reporting is handled by Sentry using EU-hosted infrastructure.

6. Data retention

  • Account data: kept as long as you have an account.
  • Error logs (Sentry): automatically deleted after 30 days.

7. Sharing of data

  • Sentry (EU-hosted): used only for error monitoring and crash reporting on our behalf.
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls.

9. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an update on this page.
